Safety Is Not An Accident

In order to provide the highest quality project design, performance, and completion — York Constructors Inc. believes that safety is paramount and a top priority. Our employees and subcontractors are our most valuable asset, and as such, our commitment to a safe and healthful workplace and the full involvement of employees in our safety program is strongly promoted. At York Constructors’ job sites, pre-job safety planning must be conducted before starting any job or task.

All York Constructors, Inc. employees and Subcontractors are responsible for working safely and assisting their co-workers in preventing injuries and illnesses. Compliance with York Constructors’ safety policies, rules and procedures and regulatory requirements is a condition of employment and/or contracting with the company.

Each project will be required to have, in addition to the York Constructors, Inc. Safety Procedures, a project-specific plan that may incorporate additional safety requirements specific to the project and/or to include the Owner’s Safety Requirements. York Constructors, Inc. Safety Procedures along with project specific safety plan, owner’s safety requirements, training, supervision and orientation are part of the York Constructors, Inc. Safety Program.

The safety of our work force and the safety of those working on our jobsites is of paramount importance to us and will always be a top priority. The management of York Constructors, Inc. is committed to the full implementation and enforcement of our safety program.
