Cytec Carbon Fibers, LLC manufactures carbon fibers for the Aerospace industry and is located at the S. C. Technology and Aviation Center in Greenville, SC.
Strict safety and qualification processes at their facility make construction activities a challenge. York Constructors has completed three (3) major projects for Cytec Carbon Fibers, LLC that are described below;
Spinning Building
36,000 sf addition including all concrete work, modifications to existing foundations, pits, trenches, slabs and equipment pads.
Poly & Recovery Buildings
Concrete and architectural work for a multi-level Poly & Recovery Process Tower.
Utilities Bridges
Installation of approximateluy2,700 lf of Utility Bridges on existing site.
Architectural Package
Upfit of new building shell and improvements to existing building. Miscellaneous concrete, including Cooling Tower, demolition and replacement of existing foundations and installation of miscellaneous foundations.
